I've uploaded TS2.99.3 here. Maybe it works now. :)
I'll try tonight to disable C6 and see what's good or bad.
Yeah, I wasn't too happy but luckily I have 4 SATA3 ports so my SSD and 2 HDD's are on them already.:)
I'm a desktop guy, what's the benefit of...
Oh no! Another crap claim from Dell exposed by uncle's ThrottleStop? I'm shocked.
I really don't understand why peoples buy those...
2.90 is a work in progress. ;)
Try 0.6.4. It has some improvements. :)
Linpack clones put an unrealistic and uneven load on your CPU's.
For Nehalem and latter CPU's prime95 large FFTs pull almost the same heat as...
I can swear that yesterday I saw a picture in your post with Acces Denied for you on Dell forums or something like that.
Today is not. NBR mods...
@Greywind Interesting log. It looks like you have ~x12 multi in load and idle but at some point it drops at ~x10 (when you have that 99.8%...
It's always room for improvement. From x8 to x12 is a 50% loss. Kevin brings back ~20% so 30% still remains to recover.
Now it's up to Kevin's...
OK guys, I smell love in the air. :D
Have fun with Kevin and your CPU's.
I'm Kevin's friend/beta-tester for a while now and I know about CPU-Z being inaccurate is some conditions from the moment when Kevin knows about...
You must try to think yourself and not to be one of the herd. ;)
That's why I have a deep respect for Kevin. Without having access to inner Intel docs he managed to debunk most of Intel hidden secrets.
Of course CPU-Z is not wrong. Is the standard. Is the best. Is amazing. Is perfect.
But sometime is useless. The king is dead...
Thermal shutdown I guess. Having DTS at 4 after 3 seconds of prime95 means a super-hot CPU and it's protecting himself by shutting down.
You'll find a way if you take a look at RealTemp About. ;)
At a first glance that's the cause. Now you don't throttle anymore but your core temps should rise in games/IBT/Orthos.
Kevin's RealTemp should...
And your CPU temps in full-load are?
