Given that it's a quite old RB 17 Pro 2019 can we assume seeing this option is some sort of Beta driver bug?
Should this even be available on a laptop RTX 2060? What is it even doing? On WSL Beta drivers.
I've a 2019 17 Pro here with no MUX unfortunately.
I've a 17 Pro here with no MUX, probably the worst thing about it.
Oh what there's a MUX option now?!
What kind of thermals you getting?
Yes if the clip gets good contact and a good read, no if not.
I'm sure SO many of us were talking about flashing the chip to unlock the ME to overlock BCLK very recently?
Be better asking somebody else who has revived or edited their RB15 with a programmer, there must be one here?
All the support will tell you to do is give the serial number and restart/reinstall WIndows - everybody will tell you here they don't know ****....
This makes sense to me yes - the file in the Razer Updater BIOS package is always 16mb BUT they have in the past split the "main" part of the BIOS...
I don't know man - it "just works" for the rest of us. You're doing something wrong along the way - hard to tell without having the machine...
Yes that sounds right, it's either 8mb or 16mb?
Pin 1 isn't the one that's colored in, maybe it's that?
If I remember right that's definitely the right chip type it's detecting. Are you able to get a read out of 16mb? Attaching the clip is very...
Oh sure that does look like the chips - read them both and see which dumps a 16mb file, that'll be the BIOS chip.
It's underneath the copper plate my man - on the 17 there's a square cutout exposing the chip (I imagine on purpose for easy access.)
Can you show a picture of the inside of your laptop? We have different Blades I think.
No need to trust other peoples BIOS dumps as the dump itself exists within the Razer Updater.exe - open it with 7zip and you'll see what I mean.
I don't use Thunderbolt or HDMI out which both might be broken - can't confirm. If you can find a 90w BIOS from a laptop you know also has these...
