i remember trying 17x R3's panel directly to the AW 17's LVDS connector but that didnt worked .. I used M17x R3's LVDS Cable as i had 120hz panel...
also if you are having a hot air gun try using it with the soldering iron .. it will solder the joints that way by combining heat from the hot air...
