I still working on it. For a few days every vbios working great without throttling, but today after I switched back to svl and try new nvidia...
Tommorow I will make same test with svl vbios. From previous test I think svl give best performance and lowest temperature. Your vbios behave like...
Which pads u used?
Which fan did you changed?
Pwm bypass switch - what is this?
@IVHOTEP Your vbios looks like stock Clevo.
It looks like I am to hot :) I made screenshot after 1 hour of playing RDR2.
Snow cooling? Why not :)
@Baqir Is it possible to implement your anti-throttling settings to svl vbios?
45c sounds unbelievable?! Which vbios you have installed?
@Baqir Thanks. I will test it soon :)
Would you share vbios which elimanates pwr thortling?
No, it should work without problems.
m17x R4 running Ivy Brigde, not Haswell
How did you make it all?
Sorry if missed sth, but is there a way to run m17x R4 + 980m + Windows 7 + PEG only?
Again you messed up sequence - as I remember you should reenable (bios) IDT after mount 780m, then install idt driver first, after that graphic...
You possibily messed up the sequence. Read instructions carefully and do it one more time :)
A12 unlocked works well with 780m.
Thanks :) Good to know its quite simple swap.
It depends on version of display port and gpu. I never try higher res than 2540x1600 thru DP and 1980x1200 thru HDMI.
780m is good choice. I suggest to use new thermal pads.
Please share your experience after swap mobo from R4 to R3.
Good idea. If you find solid info share it :)
780m also works with R3 (and 980m with R4), why 680m is best card for those models?
