Thanks for posting this. :)
So they were wrong about strong performanc in 2017? Damn...
1) likely no, I never recommend purchasing higher frequency RAM as it never really seems to be worth it
2) likely yes, you want your panel to be...
I'm not sure but it can't hurt, right? It should at least be worth looking into.
Oh my god, your app is open-source?! Awesome!! That was literally my ONLY suggestion for it, then I read your comment and now I am really happy. :D
Also activate the "power saving" feature as well.
I always love threads like this. Awesome to see you guys modding the hell out of your Clevos. :)

As far as I know, limiting FPS manually does not fix tearing, only G-Sync, Freesync, Fastsync, V-Sync, etc fix tearing.
Higher FPS results in lower input lag even when you don't have a higher refresh rate monitor.

I have a Cooler Master Storm Quickfire XT with MX Browns, feels great to type on and is made by the best keyboard...
Wow, that is about the biggest upgrade you can get. Very exciting!
V-Sync is fine if you can't stand tearing but it introduces horrible input lag:
I'm pretty picky about temps and those temps look good even to me. :)
I'm honestly pretty excited to see what temps you get idle, in stress tests, games, etc since you take your temps more seriously than most people. :)
