I had tested different TDPs with my 1060 and an open vBIOS, up to 150w, in the m17x r4 my BIOS is stock A11.
Result was, card was throttling worst...
Had some used THPDJ laying around, am selling them on a German marketplace at the moment. If you are interested I can check for shipping costs.
Better leave that Geforce Experience where it is, and manually update to a modded recent driver. Only install the driver (and Physx).

There actually is no part for the second GPU.
You just assign the GPU ID to your laptop model. You may have missed to add a line smwhere.

Also best to deactivate the "Auto Driver Update" in Win 10 straight from the beginning, may cause you sm headaches in the future.

Only with an unlocked BIOS it would be possible to switch to iGFX, as far as I know.
Otherwise you could open it up and test the cards one by...
You can just stack em, so you get the right distance. Most important is contact of the core and the RAM chips to the heatsink, so there is no gap....
