I would advise everyone to stay clear of Seagate HDDs. They are proven to be the worst in terms of reliability.

in the case of the gt80, the laptop starts charging the battery when it drops below 90% and stops at 100%.

or just uninstall them and reinstall the original intel drivers.
i use the official intel ones aswell as they get automatically updated through...

i dont think its your cpu's fault.
if i were you, i'd update the bios and try again. if it still won't install you could try the original driver...
maybe the taskbar symbol is hidden? also try to install the driver package anyway, you cant break it.
