I don't believe the chip has the right output control for it full stop.
It was easy enough to get a pack of screws from them when I needed some at least.
For the OLED panels the Nvidia chip does not have the right brightness control output so it's locked to using the Intel chip for the internal...
Way too much paste there, try a line 1/3 the thickness.

A sensor, there is a pipe for a dipstick with a dummy in it under the engine cover so he ordered a 3rd party one to check it himself.
The only other thing is that they are optimus mode only. But very nice for media consumption.

Sadly the magic smoke can escape in very stealthy ways ;) transistors are tiny so yeah not always obvious.

That model is not hard to work on which is one of its benefits.
If you bump things up slowly as you go, small voltage changes are significant.
Get a keyboard off Ebay or the like and fit it yourself for great profit in this case...
