The rumor is IVB quad cores will be released this week. Dual cores to follow in June. Supplies will probably be tight for some time, apple is expected to update their macair line and get priority for the chips

What are your sources?

Quad cores won't be included in these ultrabook specs. Specifically, the NP900X3C already has the processor spec posted, so it definitely won't have a IV quad core.
