Hello,
Samsung support can`t help me.
Did anyone got problem with the Easy Software Manager?
When i start i get the message:

(Translated from german error message)
Internet is working fine. Maybe its because i lost the Recovery Partition and he need it to connect? Any solutions?

Re: Easy Software Manager (700Z5A-S01)
i don't know about other countries, but it works in usa.
why don't you try this.
uninstall easy software change all the setting (lang) to usa then reinstall easy software.
i'm thinking that easy software shows all the driver in usa only??
i could be wrong

Re: Easy Software Manager (700Z5A-S01)
Hi cake4k! Happy New Year!
I have the same problem. I've removed all system partitions and made clean W7 install. I've downloaded Easy Software Man. but it doesn't work. In my opinion that software doesn't recognize the model of laptop. OEM install has some special identity features which allows samsung soft to ask server for right verison of driver, tools etc.
To resolve that problem we need to change something in registry or maybe in file system to make our laptops visible for bad samunsg software.
I've made a little investigation and I've found .mrk file in windows\system\drivers dir. That mrk file is empty but name of that file contains full name and model. Now I haven't it on this machine but it was something like 14D_NP700Z5_bla_bla.mrk. Maybe this some mark for samsung apps.
Also I've changed the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation. That key in W7 is exacly the same what this Migration of Oeminfo.ini Settings for XP. So I've add model (NP700Z5A) and manufacturer (Samsung Electronics) string values and ... ESM app changed the error message to "bad manufacturer" or something like that. So maybe this is the right way to make that software works....
Now my NP700Z5A is in warranty service. WIFI range was very poor.
Frankly writing
, I though that this laptop will be much more user friendly...
That clean install disables express cache, there is no software on sam. website which support express cache... easy software doesn't work. Graphic drivers from samsung website (ATI) makes BSOD...
Guys! Be careful do not delete OEM recovery partition!
