Re: Samsung Series 7 Laptops - 15.0" and 15.6" Models (NP700Z4 & NP700Z5)
Yea I did chance some settings and also switched the tasksymbole on. After I clicked the ok button I can see the symbole. But only vor 2 sek and then it disappers. In my opinion the driver crashes. Now I don't know if it is because of the driver or because the touchpad is broken.
Normel touches are possible.

I already did that. The only thing I can try now is to stop the antivir software. But I never heard something about drivers that don't work because of an antivir software...

Sorry can't help you more

One last thing would be a complete format and reinstall with the recovery DVD.
If it doesn't work after that, then I think its the Touchpad itself.

Seems like a prototype, again...
I don't have the "screen bumpers" (don't know what they called in English) left under control and right under the Enter button, also you can see on their model bad quality on 3rd picture.

Re: Samsung Series 7 Laptops - 15.0" and 15.6" Models (NP700Z4 & NP700Z5)
I was so curious about this laptop, so I went today to Pc world in London and checked it out...
It looks like a really amazing laptop and everything seems good. Build, size etc.. completely outstanding.
BUT the display is really a shame for Samsung!! Currently I have a Sony Vaio VPC E and comparing my glossy display (2 years old) to the Samsung display is outperforming the Samsung display by milions..!!!!
If they would have used just a glossy and good display , this notebook would be the market maker and could compete agains Macbook Pro !!! A lot of people would buy it, since almost everyone is looking for a nice build (macbook style), battery life, good display and Windows....!!
Anyone heard of a version with a glossy display??
