Re: Samsung Series 7 Laptops - 15.0" and 15.6" Models (NP700Z4 & NP700Z5)
Maybe they had a prototype?
I can't confirm sharp edges and I don't know what they mean with the touchpad mouse buttons...

How are you getting such a great price for the precision 4600? I'd consider that a much better overall package than the series 7, but typically it's twice as much!
I'm also looking at the Sager 8150 / 8130 as an alternative but like the series 7's keyboard layout and backlighting a little more.. and while the HP 8560w is still up there it gets pretty horrible battery life :|

I don't own one but I've mentioned the sharp edges previously since I did a lot of test typing on one at BB. It is noticeable and I don't know why Sammie didn't use a curved edge on the palmrest. It's worse than just a sharp corner (like on the ultrabooks and the MacBooks), it's a seam where the top deck and the bottom plate meet so it's a noticeable edge... esp for touch typists.
Thin, light, hi-res display... and long battery life... where art thou?

Lol at this point i wouldnt be surprised. i eventually take the plunge and place my dabs order theb this happens hours later. feeling pretty disheartened now.
It certainly seems that samsung are more interested in drumming up interest in the product as opposed to actually selling the damn thing.

Looks like the Microsoft Store dropped the ball. I just spoke with the supervisor, it seems it did not ship out in time (he apologized as there was no reason for the delay). He'll refund my overnight shipping and will monitor the situation and said more than likely it will go out today for a Monday arrival.
