    I hope so (that it can be optimized)

    For now we can counteract it with tricks like pressure, airflow, repaste. All those things never go to waste Enduro or not.

    so do we take off the heatsink and do underneath as well?

    i think you could do that if you wanted. btw i just did this and i think its working really well, my machine used to idle at 36 with max fans and artic silver 5, then with ic diamond at 32 and now at 30 with the tape mod. thanks a bunch i will tell you the difference in bf3.

    wowowowow overclocked it to 735 on the core and was getting minor minor artifacting, and then decide to go to 750 and it crashed, but still with maxed fans and overvolted to 1.03v at 735mhz core it was sitting at 70 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!! holy crap!

    I just finished this modding on my GPU and CPU, here are my tests:

    Before:

    CPU - 79şC

    After:

    hmm it only reduced it by about 1c i think its because that section is nearly completely enclosed. time to add some vents on the casing!

    what prograam to use to check idle temp?
    HWmonior is working only if I open Kombuster but I think kombuster have ssomething to do with my fan on or off cycle.
