Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
It surprises me that there is so little information about these two laptops. So I thought, why not make a thread? It would be good to do something useful for NBR instead of asking questions all the time.
W350ETQ
CPU: from Intel i3-2350M to i7-2860QM
RAM: from 2GB to 16GB DDR3
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 2GB GDDR5
Connections:
1 x Bluetooth (optional)
3 x USB 3.0
1 x USB 2.0
1 x eSATA
1 x HDMI
1 x Mikrofon
1 x Kopfhörer
1 x SPDIF-out
1 x RJ45
1 x DC-in
2 x Mini Card Slot
1 x Kensington Schloss Buchse
Dimensions:
Height: 1,63 cm (front) / 4,14 cm (rear)
Width: 37,4 cm
Depth: 25,0 cm
Weight: 2,7 kg
Information
This laptop is best comparable with the W150ERQ. The graphic card is very similar. The GTX 660M is better than the DDR3 version of the GT 650M, but the difference isn't that big when compared to the GDDR5 version of the GT 650M. The difference between the GT 650M 2GB GDDR5 and the GTX 660M 2GB GDDR5 is small.

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
So my german's not too good. Does it mention how many drives it can hold? Is it 2 plus an optical, like the W150ER? For the 15 inch, I mean.

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
The Polish site says the 15.6" model can hold up to three hard drives (when the optical drive is removed).

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
That is correct.
If you want pictures: I have a bunch from one.de and also from that Computex 2012 convention somewhere in Asia (from the looks of the language :P (Taiwan?)). I will upload them when I have time.
This is an interesting thread to read: Die Clevos kommen... W370ET / W350ETQ. It is in German, but you could translate it using translate.google.com
"The W370 is a "rubber-finish" C-cover (like the P150) and a matte black A-Cover have.
The W350 will probably have spotted piano finish on the A-Cover and plastic mats on the C-cover.
The request for final pictures from Taiwan running."

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
Edited the first post with some pictures.
Quote from Schenker (popular German Clevo reseller) in very bad english using translate.google.com:
"For that I have new details to the GTX 660M:
- The TDP of the graphics card is between 40 and 55W
- 384 CUDA cores, 835Mhz Core Clock, 2Ghz GDDR5 clock
- 128 bit memory interface (similar to the GT 555M in XMG A501)
And for the entire device:
- SATA 6G-connection!
- Hardware RAID on two drives slots!
- Three DDR3 RAM slots (two on rear, one under the keyboard)!
- Soft button to disable NVIDIA graphics card according to NVIDIA Optimus 2012!
The already published elsewhere photos from Computex we do not want to deny this point:
*** I also got these pictures from one.de. They are the same pictures, of the W350ETQ at the Computex 2012 Clevo booth

As you can see the keyboard layout has been modified compared to the mock-up easily.
Do you have any questions, comments or requests? We appreciate any feedback!"Last edited by Androyed; 2nd July 2012 at 04:27 PM.

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
Please note that this is not our bad english.

By the way: after having been delayed a little bit, the W370ET will hit the markets soon. We are expecting our sample in the next couple of days.the german Clevo forge

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
Although some people think that we all speak German in the Netherlands, I don't understand a word besides "uberhaupt" and "sowieso". I will change it to "very bad english by translate.google.com" :P
Awesome, can't wait for a review! I'm more interested in the 15 inch model though, do you know how much they differ? One.de Support said the following about the design of the two laptops (Die Clevos kommen... W370ET / W350ETQ
But from the looks of the pictures from Computex 2012, there is no difference at all?

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
The W370ET will hit really really soon
and I'm sure it's going to be a hit.
Regarding the W350ETQ.. kinda meh, still waiting for the 13"... heh

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
If the W370ET is going to be a hit, then so is the W350ETQ, or at least I hope so... I doubt there is going to be a huge difference besides the very obvious difference in screen size. I've never heard someone praising the W110 while complaining about the W150/W170. You could say that the W110 has a better size-performance ratio, but that's kinda it.
13"? That's a weird size. That kind of limits your options. A lot... :P

Re: Clevo W350ETQ and W370ET
Looks like this W350ETQ will compete with the MSI GE60 (MS-16GA Barebones).
W350ETQ - 2 x 9.5mm HDD is nice. HM76 chipset so RAID isn't supported?
W370ET - HM77 chipset, so maybe RAID is supported.
Doesn't look like either has a SATA III mSata port?
But a 13" with the same hardware plus the 13" FHD IPS panel from the Asus Zenbook Prime UX32VD would be ideal.
Any idea if this is going to be announced this year?Current: Clevo P370EM3 i7-3630QM GTX 680M SLI 3D Vision Driver Installation & Win7 Optimization ║ Acer TimelineX 3820TG i3-370M 5650M
