I tried to play Rage recently, but there was a lot of texture problem on huge fps drop on my 7970m. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Re: Problem with 7970m on Rage
I fixed it by using a newer driver, but As far as I know clevo users are cut from updating them?
I had glitches, artifacts and low fps with 12.5 no matter which settings I use.
Now I can max out the game while having only High detail texture off (I force 16k texture in the cfg).Clevo HM user? Look here for informations on how to upgrade to AMD 7970m.

I have no problems with 12.7 official beta, maybe that's why.

Re: Problem with 7970m on Rage
I know there were a lot of problems with Rage and ATi, when it launched, many in the PC community complained. There were workarounds, I just don't remember neither the problems, neither the workaround for them. It all had to do with their megatexturing technology. Try and search around in their forums.
Hope this helps.
