Re: P150EM Upgrading from 675M to 680M!!
That's $1200, the price of an entire laptop, for the GTX 680M. Ridiculousness.
Would overall cost less to sell the laptop, then buy a whole new one with the 680M.P170HM | i7-2630QM | 6970M | 8GB 1333MHz RAM | CM4 128GB SSD | 320GB 7200.4 | BRD

^ This. Kevin's portrait says it all. But it's your money to spend. I was thinking about trying it in my NP8150. Wonder if it would work.

Re: P150EM Upgrading from 675M to 680M!!
Hate it when they do something like this
"Unsatisfied, return within 7 days for a FULL refund"
and then you get popped with this
"Please make sure you know exactly what you are buying, we have to charge
15% restock fee, for non faulty return."
Anyways, really anxious to see how the install and testing goes!| P170EM | i7 3720QM | 4GB GDDR5 GTX680M @900/1100/0.975v ~ svl7 vBios | 2 x 256GB Crucial M4 Raid 0 || Vantec 7.1ch DAC | Astro A40 | 2560x1440p IPS panel | Gunnar MLG Phantom Snow || Ducky Shine II Cherry MX Brown | Logitech G700 |_____________________________________

Re: P150EM Upgrading from 675M to 680M!!
Standalone laptop gpu/cpu will always be expensive as they are manufactured for OEM's and have very short supply or it is not even intended for the consumer market.

More waiting huh? I think you still might be the first. Well if HTWingnut doesn`t get all sneaky and get it first though. He talked about having it "in transit" whatever that means
