Hair under screen (P150HM)

Hi all,

it appear I have a single hair under my screen. I bought my P150HM via Malibal in the US, I am currently living in China/Thailand in rotation. Shipping it in for repair is not a feasible option. The cost will be too high and laptop absence too long, not even mentioning custom troubles in China (and no, just because I am 'right' that won't change anything.

Sooo. How can I fix this myself? How difficult is it? What is the danger of messing up things?

can you post a picture? and if you cant remove the hair, or send it back due to time constraints i would tell them to send you a screen and send them back the old one. also when did you notice the hair, is it yours haha.

To the OP, whatever you do, don't use an air can like I did one time. I had a dog hair or a cat hair behind my screen once and I tried to blow it with an air can from one edge to the closest adjacent one. My plan was to just push it out of the way, out of my sight. I tilted the air can and it sprayed liquid. Fail.

I can't post a pic yet since I dont have a camera where I am. It is an eyelash I am pretty sure.
Is this sufficient to ask Malibal to send me a new screen??
