Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
holy s***, a 90W PSU for an 11" laptop!
the specs are insane for such a small-factor-size machine, that especially includes the overall weight of 1.8 (!!!) kg.

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
Yes.. why do they try to compete with the m11x, instead of just making a better machine with a atleast 12.5 inch screen or even better, 13.3 inch screen..
I think the notebook would be great if it would use a bigger screen, but only having an 11inch screen plus weighing 1.8kg is a damn shame.. Really, 11.6 inch is just too damn small for anything besides casual surfing, and who wants such a fat netbook??
The gateway u2442 14 inch notebook, weighs only 1.4 kg in comparison and sports the 640m (with dual coolers, one for cpu and one for gpu) or the lg p330 weighs 1.7kg but has a 13.3 inch screen with a 555m (comparable, a bit weaker though than 650m, prolly round 10 - 15%)
BTW the official spec sheet .pdf only features sandy bridge processors and doesnt really name the GPU which will be used (rumours claim 650m)

That spec sheet is dated September 2011, I've seen it a while back.

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
Hopefully more details will come out after the Kepler official release. I've tried talking to some of the resellers but they won't give out anything more.
I'd much rather get this then the y470p but I'm getting antsy about some of the deals that are starting to show up. Even just a confirmation that it will be released with SB + Kepler and that we don't have to wait till IVB becomes available.
