Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
Wonder if it's affordable, like $500 for the cheapest config, I do need a ultraportable, since I think I might purchase a 17".

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
Do any of you know if this will be offered with a Matte display option or will we be stuck with a Glossy display like every other gaming laptop in this size?

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
Im just glad Clevo are coming to the Ultrabook party. Mainly because you know their Ultrabooks will kill all the others out there in terms of performance.
A reasonably priced stylish ultrabook which could run games ticks all the boxes.

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
W110ER is not thin as the ultrabook but the thickness is acceptable (much thinner than the previous M11x), getting a W110ER + a P150em at the same time will be the best pair of performing + portable

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
Looking at the 640M numbers from this review it looks good for this being exactly the portable gaming laptop I'm looking for provided the build quality on the LCD lid is sufficient for me.
I'm hoping to bring it in my pack and its going to be receiving pressure on the lid. Then it has to cope with my wife's tendency to place things ontop of the laptop when I leave it on a table. Between the two I really need a laptop with a lid that can diffuse pressure well so I don't keep on killing LCDs.
Edit: This review has actual numbers on the 640M from a Acer.Last edited by Baenwort; 14th March 2012 at 05:07 PM. Reason: Real numbers

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
I really don't need a gaming ultrabook, am I right for going to Clevo for a well built affordable work laptop(Application development, simple Blender 3D rendering for openGL), or is there a better or equivalent choice? I'm getting a P170EM, soooo...it's not like its my only laptop, just need something to pull out in an instant, in class or at work.

Re: Clevo W110ER Ultraportable
A reseller I talked to said there was some debate as to whether they were going to bump up to a 655M, or possibly go with something lower such as a 635M..
