There has always been a lack of a good amount of information regarding European Clevo resellers. Therefore I made this thread to help you all Clevo searching consumers

Are all the countries members of the European Union?

No, but I have marked the those who are with these: Member of the European Union, Non-member of the European Union

Why have you then included all of these non European Union members in this thread?

Well I've done so everyone in the Europe continent to be able to find a reseller near them. Although the title says resellers in the European Union, it seemed better to include those who are not members either because of their geographical placement inside Europe.

What kind of difference does it do if the reseller is a European Union member or not?

This is a quite tricky one. You see, there are several privileges (not to mention rules etc etc) that comes when you are a member of the European Union. Now one of these great privileges is the well known European Union value added tax (EU VAT as it's often called upon). What it does is that it requires every country in the European Union to have a minimum of 15% rate of VAT, but the great thing is that there's a free VAT shipment between every member of the European Union. Simply because when you, example, buy a laptop in the UK and pay the UK VAT and then say import it to DK, which in this case has a higher VAT rate, it does not change a thing! You only pay for the UK VAT and it enters the country free of will (with the cost of shipment ofc). Easy as that

So whenever you buy a any electronic, in this case a laptop from another European Union member, you will not have to pay any extra VAT to get it into your own EU Union member country.
