Looking for Clevo news resources
I'm looking for some resources for Clevo information for a wiki article. At one time, I thought I ran across an article about Clevo being the first laptop vendor to offer a system in addition to normal memory and HDD upgrades, the CPU and GPU could be upgraded by the end user - (D900F??)
I don't think it was necessarily a review (and perhaps I saw it on a forum post), but in any case, I was wondering if anyone had historical links to any of the upgradeable Clevo systems and the notoriety of being the first vendor to offer such a system.
TIA.
[EDIT] Sorry, wrong forum -> Is there anyway to move this thread to the general "Sager and Clevo" forum?Last edited by jclausius; 19th April 2011 at 11:38 AM.

Re: Looking for Clevo news resources
You've not bothered reading the huge sticky by Gophn at the top of the general Clevo forum have you?
There's always getting information straight from the horse's mouth, a few years ago I looked up Clevo's website directly (English version). More up-to-date info possible via their Traditional Chinese website.崩れた硝子の絵

Re: Looking for Clevo news resources
I had not. Thanks for the tip.
It has some good stuff, but not necessarily things I can use as "third party" reliable sources. I was hoping for Press Releases, tech site articles, etc.
At one time, I swear I read a press release regarding Clevo being the first manufacturer to offer socket based CPU and socket based GPUs (circa 2005).
Those are the kinds of articles I'm searching for.Clevo x7200 from AVA Direct | intel i7 - 970 Hexcore 12MB L3 Cache, @ 3.20GHz (stock) | 12 GB Corsair RAM DDR3 SDRAM @ 1333MHz | nVidia GTX 460M GPU with 1.5GB GDDR5 | Crucial C300 256 GB SSD system disk | 500 GB (2 x RAID-1) Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid data disk

Re: Looking for Clevo news resources
There's the news sticky recently started by one of the moderators at the top of the General Clevo forum, in addition you could always ask Gophn where he got his information from regarding the Clevo product release timeline and the milestones the company had achieved in recent years.
