Can anyone show me a picture of a 8800M GTX MXM 2.1 III?

People say IV for some reason sometimes.

He knows what to buy, hes just confused.

I feel like this photo will clear everything up:

Basically NONE of it matters but the physical space in the chassis.

There are ATI 4850 cards in type II. Theres basically some crazy out there, but the slot is the same.

HE tab is more standard but doesn't actually do anything at all most of the time. The card in that laptop (msi gx620) does not have the HE tab connected whatsoever, but the card works 100%.

MSI also shipped that laptop out with MXM II cards like the 9600m GT.

The only thing that laptop can't fit is the type IV because it wont phsyicially fit, but I am positive it would run some type IV cards just fine if you stripped it down to the mainboard.

There is no officially mandated IV. III + HE tab is what they call IV.

Thats not really true... IV definitely means bigger. The people who say IV instead of III + HE are usually ebay sellers or us (btw, anyone else ever get their own forum threads as the first google result? )
