Yea no one has. I think maybe its the precursor to the m860tu.

You should try removing all of your components and testing them separately.

Sounds like this was the Sager NP7650 o 7652 equivalent. I would try removing and try each Ram Module by itself. If you have a spare processor it could be the culprit also. It should boot with only RAM and CPU installed.

This is a known issue for that model with BIOS 1.00.10
You have to update EC/BIOS to latest :
    EC 1.00.18 : ftp://ftp.clevo.com.tw/ALLBIOS/M7xxSU/746SU_EC18.zip
    BIOS : 1.00.12 : ftp://ftp.clevo.com.tw/ALLBIOS/M7xxSU/BIOS_12.zip
You have to continue trying to boot with USB or CD until it works then update. If your actual EC firmware is 1.00.16 then you can update BIOS first, otherwise you have to update EC first then again continue try to boot until updating BIOS

thanks for your reply although I can`t get it to boot at all is there a key combo to update BIOS as I know on some mobo/laptops this is possible? I`ve always thought it was a BIOS issue but can`t get in far enough to flash
