Just some heads up about the 1.00.13 version.

Flashed it and everything went ok. Over all updates since the 1.00.02 version, this is the first SBIOS update that I noticed some changes on the performance.

I don't know if it's a placebo effect(didn't made any sintetic benchmarks), but the system appears snapier overall. It's quieter too, considering that I had already the KB/EC Firm. 1.00.11Sa with the 1.00.12SL SBIOS.

I recomend it to anyone with this model.

how new is the .13 bios?? when i was installing the kc i noticed the date was in 2007? that seems a bit old

i just installed the new firmware renovatio posted and have to agree with audigy that it is much snappier. it seems to be much more efficient. are these both the latest versions???

It's the newer known for this model...

The 1.00.12 SBIOS came out officially from Clevo on Jan 2009, this one Feb 2009.

Because Clevo disabled the public access to their BIOS/Firmware online database around revision 12 release dates, we didn't know the existence of the revision 13.

finsihed re-furbishing my 5793.

new lcd cover is from a M570 (silver) seems more solid than the stock black metal finish that dents very easily, I have a OBHD from newmode us with a 250gb sata drive installed got a free white bracket so I could use the original dvdrw bezel, an extra card reader for xD camera cards (express card 34/54), a new screen LP171WE3 TL-A5 matte 1680x1050, a white lite-on usb dvd-rw eTAU108 and a customised cpu cooler from killer notebooks I found on ebay.

Just need to get some extra ram and another zalman cooler and I'll be set. I installed the new bios and it's working fine, not sure I've noticed any speed increase like that was mentioned.

played a few games, on second thoughts the new bios does seem to makes things a bit quicker.

Sager BIOS 1.00.13 + Sager KBC 1.00.11
Score=9717

Clevo BIOS 1.00.11 + Clevo KBC 1.00.09
Score=9724

I'm using Sager NP5793 and under BIOS 1.00.8SL, but it gave me error "PLATFORM SIGNATURE NOT FOUND IN THE INTERFACE", anyone can help me with this error?

I succeed in upgrading the EC/KBC to 11SA but not the BIOS..
