Tried to flash the EC firmware with phlash16 and got an error message :" cannot flash if memory managers (eg. HIMEM) present. " Googled it still no luck with figuring out how to fix this, any ideas?

BTW, i have flashed many bios without this error message.

there is a switch to ignore that, did the firmware not come with a .bat file to run it?

Here is the command to flash the original clevo 1.00.09 KBC/EC. I would assume the sager version is the same command, just change the filename to whatever the sager version is called:

Phlash16 /x /mode=3 /s ECM57RU.09

The firmware is in .iso formart, maybe this is why, I wish it was not, but in seperate files instead. Anyone have the files NOT in .iso format? i really don't want to make a bootable cd just for this.

1) use isobuster to extract .ima file from iso and then u can use ultraiso to extract files from ima
2) copy kbc09s.bat, PHLASH16.exe, ecm57ru.09s to bootable USB or diskette
3) use kbc09s.bat from booted media

Hello again! Checking the Clevo Bios website, I noticed a new KBC/EC firmware :

EC firmware 1.00.10.

fix:

When system working temperature reaches fan on point but the system cant receive normal fan speed information, it will alarm for one minute then shut down.

Has anyone installed thisone ? Do you know if the fans still can be controlled manualy ?
