No, you dont have to live with it. If its less than 15ds, you can return and get a new one. Just talk to Donald.

Re: XoticPC's Sager NP5793 Pictorial Mini-Review by Prasad007
Hey Prasad, u know ur responsible for me ordering my sager from XoticPC ??
I got the same config as urs except for an added 1 GB intel rhobson, 200GB 7200RPM HDD and Vista Ultimate.
but i wanna ask u about their service. i ordered mine 3 weeks ago. it took them 7 business days to receive my wire transfer while it should take them only 3, and now 7 working days had passed and still in assembly stage
BUMMER. was their service this slow with u or is it because i'm an international customer. i live in Kuwait actually. will ship from US PObox through ARAMEX.
I was very very excited at the idea of having my first laptop ever, but now the excitment just died away, hehe too bad.

Out of interest, why did you buy the robson turbo memory? Tests have shown that it makes no difference...

@JayDee1974, xotic pc don't really update the phases. next time when they contact you your system probably shipped for 2 days already.

Re: XoticPC's Sager NP5793 Pictorial Mini-Review by Prasad007
hey guys i think I'm just being extremely unlucky with my purchase. yesterday Xotic PC replied to my email telling me that Friday and Monday were off because of memorial weekend and didn't count, so I'm still in the 7 business day period, how fortunate of me.
so i guess i need another 2 weeks for the thing to each me in kuwait. well just have to wait and keep watching those nice pictures of the laptop on the net
to Theriko
I thought the turbo memory would make a difference, didn't read any reviews online, talk about laptop newbie

Fair enough, turbo memory has been shown to help if you don't have much ram in your system, but with anything above 2GB it has almost no impact (and in some rare cases is detrimental to performance). We're all hoping turbomem 2 (coming with montevina) will be better
