Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
I know a lot of us are buying the Sager 2090 with Vista 64 bit pre-installed. I was wondering if anyone could explain how to remove that and install the 32 bit version instead. If drivers are needed could someone please list all of them? Also Donald, is it possible that Powernotebooks could just install the 32-bit version of Vista so I could already have that one when I get my laptop?

Re: Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
just boot the CD and follow the instructions...clean install.
I would think that the drivers are on the CD already considering you get both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions.

Re: Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
If I just put in the 32-bit version CD and install, does it replace my 64-bit version? Do I have to remove the 64-bit first somehow?

Re: Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
if you do a clean install it will replace the 64-bit version. If you do a clean install I don't think you have to remove anything.

Re: Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
i prefer formatting the hard drive first and then installing vista 32-bit. you can do this from the installation program that comes up when you boot from the cd. the 32 bit drivers however are not on the dvd that come with the laptops so i suggest you download them and install them before uninstalling

Re: Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
Where can I find all the drivers I need to install? Basically this is what I'm understanding (tell me if I am right or wrong):
1. Download and install 32-bit Vista drivers.
2. Put 32-bit Vista CD into CD-Drive and do a clean install.
3. You're done?Sony VAIO S Series | i7-3612QM | 8GB DDR3 | 15" IPS 1920x1080 | NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE (2GB) | 640GB (7200rpm) | USB 3.0 | Windows 7

Re: Guide to Vista 32 bit installation
yea download drivers and burn to cd is step one.
2. is install 32-bit vista
3. install drivers in the proper order
ftp://ftp.littlebit.ch/Littlebit%...0(FL90)/Driver
the drivers on that site are numbered in the order they should be installed
