From what I have read, you should be saving your bios with GPU-Z and then modifying them with NiBiTor. Then reflashing them with NVflash. However nibitor is not recognizing the stock bios for me.

I've been using the -6 -5... method since the 9800M GT. It's completely safe, as long as you are using your own 675M BIOS, or one from someone you trust.

That game looks so damn good.
89C is completely and well within the safe zone. Anything below 95C is not to be worried about.

You can game at that temp for a 24 hour marathon, every day.

I pulled my own bios with GPU-z, but nibitor is not recognizing the bios. I'd like to use my own... I tried the -6 -5 method with the modified 675 bios from mvktech and it tells me no nvidia display adapter found.

I am no notebook expert, but maintaining the notebook cooler will likely enable the user to use the notebook for longer period of time. I would personally use a good external notebook cooler to help support the laptops internal cooling system if I were to game heavily. I have heard around that Clevo has one of the best laptop cooling system, but I can't confirm that because I didn't have the opportunity to test it myself yet. But once I get my laptop delivered I can tell you my thoughts on long hours of gaming.

Sorry if this was answered previously, but has a good cooler been determined for this laptop yet?

I've seen rec's for the U3, and saw someone rec the SF Storm 19 in another thread.

No system so far coz I am fine with waiting even till p370 shows up coz my current laptop ( see sig) is still faithful and runs an ide + a webserver and I am playing one of my favs ( very old ) conflict desert storm on it ( ). I was also considering getting the w520 lenovo now and then later getting the p370 later or getting NP9170 now and getting the P370 later but the second choice means I wil have both 17inch laptop which serves no purpose. The purpose it to have one very portable laptops for work / travel/ presentations and one which is bad ! The portability of the bad would be a plus but I also get confused a lot sometimes and think that instead of using 3 grand on the sager why not buy a desktop for 2.5 with so many bells and whistles it keeps the music on much better! So kind of confused and the delay of the other model also kind of made it difficult.
Pretty seriously considering this laptop NP9170 too but then from what I have heard / read / asked , the p270 would have been able to maintain the higher ( 3.2 Destop Ghz) speed for much longer and overclocking is just a throttle-- pipe down -- throttle kind of thing so it might have beaten the p270 in benchmarks at high oc but this would still be the beast coz it would have held the clocks for much longer without any tampering and not to mention the quad channel memory which is something I really wanted to get to get faster IO. I hate slow machines. This is one of the reasons why I use ubuntu in my present machine with all graphics turned off so it is fast.

Does anyone know of a US company, which can produce a custom notebook (preferably Clevo or Sager) and can SHIP in Europe or a European company for customized notebooks?
