Grrrr, I can't check these because my 3ds can't play video. Can anyone tell me if the last review's reseller just botched the cooling, or if we have a serious problem with the design?

Hey guys. My laptop just died and am contemplating getting a sager/Clevo. I'm not very familiar with the brand but am looking for a 15.6 inch model. I take it this is the latest model? The only places I see to order from allow for customization. I kind of need a laptop this week...is this possible or do i have to wait a couple weeks for a build to be assembled?

Looking to get my first hi-end laptop my 3 year old toshiba literally went up in smoke yesterday good timing i guess. I'm a java programmer but don't play any video games or anything like that. I was looking at the following laptop

    Lotus P150EM-SE
    Lotus P150EM - MALIBAL

Which is about 200 bucks cheaper (before configuring) than the Lotus P150EM but when i compared them what was shown was identical on both machines? What's with the price difference?

I noticed in extras that there was an option for a backlit keyboard on the P150EM but not on the SE version but i'm seeing signs that the SE also has the backlit keyboard which is something i would really like.

Anyway main two questions are does the SE have a backlit keyboard and what's with the price difference?

P150EM is like the old P151HM no backlit key but for what I see now it is posible to config

p.p. sorry I didn't see option for backlit keys in EXTRAS

and P150EM SE is the P150HM

You have it backwards... the SE is the one with the backlit keyboard. The SE also has a rubberized casing compared to the plastic casing on the standard P150EM. The SE also has a 180W PSU, which supports the higher GPUs & CPUs - like the 675M and 2960XM.

well i just looked at the video and i gotta say its too big/bulky for me to carry around at college. im not expecting zenbook thicknes but this is too much. Also, I would expect the cooling to be great but if it makes that much noise.... I have to pass this laptop up. Maybe the next time im looking for alptop goodluck to people that buy this!

I do like the pm830 for its 256GB option. 120/125GB would be a tight squeeze for my future setup. Like the others here, I'm waiting for Ivy Bridge to be released. Do you think you will have the Samsung PM830 SATA 3 256GB mSATA SSD before Aug 2012?

Ha sorry about that i do have it backwards so the standard one doesn't have the backlit keyboard that's unfortunate was hoping to get out a little cheaper but that is something i would really like since i live in a dorm and my room mate goes to bed at a normal time while i'm up coding till 5am I can touch type obviously but the backlit keyboard just makes things easier for those obscure keys that i never use often

Looking to get a 15 inch with i7-2670QM, 8gbs of ram, 750gb hdd and backlit keyboard damn graphics card is just driving my price up ha don't need that at all
