Re: **Official Clevo P150EM / Sager NP9150 Owner's Lounge**
GTX675M performs EXACTLY the same as GTX580M with the same drivers

Some French resellers said that the 675M would run cooler than the 580M but I highly doubt it. If anyone could confirm ?
Also got the 1st review of the P150EM/9150 here:
Test Schenker XMG P502 PRO Gaming Notebook - Notebookcheck.com Tests
From what I read thru, I can tell:
Pros:
- Beautiful matte screen, very bright !
- Nice touchpad and back-lit keyboard
- Battery life much enhanced with Optimus
- Speakers and sounds much improved too (Onkyo speakers)
- Very nice performances, 675M is exactly alike 580M
Cons:
- It gets hot inside (CPU and GPU), was expecte though as this is a similar layout to the P150HM. The barebone gets a bit warm too.
- Very noisy, even noisier than GT780 with Turbo boost ON - Also we can read that the fans are always running even @ idle (didn't they correct the EC temps trip?) so similar issues as before (basically it's never quiet)
Otherwise great design, really like it ! Still tortured with the GT 60 though..Samsung 900X3C-A02

Re: **Official Clevo P150EM / Sager NP9150 Owner's Lounge**
I demand +rep for this. Here are the numbers:
1.) P150EM noise
Idle 34.5 / 34.5 / 38.9 dB
HDD 34.5 dB
DVD 37.8 / dB
Last (under load in german) 47.9 / 53.6 dB
2.) P150HM noise
Idle 32.1 / 32.1 / 35.2 dB
HDD 33.0 dB
DVD 38.6 / dB
Last (under load in german) 45.2 / 45.2 dB
P.S. NOTE! Anything above 50 decibels is CLEARLY audible and can **** you off if you listen to it for long enough! In fact, its louder than some laptop speakers. Here is your "shredder-book" that will get you kicked out of the room if someone sleeps in it.PREVIOUS LAPTOP: NEXOC G647 (Clevo P150HM)|Core i7 2760QM 2,4-3,5Ghz|2x4GB 1333Mhz Kingston|AMD 6990M 2GB|OCZ VERTEX 3 SSD 60GB|SAMSUNG 320GB 5400rpm

Just wait and see with Ivy Bridge and AMD 7970M. Not only will it be quiet, but it will be more powerful at the same price (or less!!!).

Re: **Official Clevo P150EM / Sager NP9150 Owner's Lounge**
It's not to bad...
better then asus G series. I have g50vt 3.5 years old that -as a new- had louder volumes then that and it's still, this day, is hardley audible over night.
can get better but it's not a deal breaker.

Re: **Official Clevo P150EM / Sager NP9150 Owner's Lounge**
But, if we take out the DVD and HDD instead use SSD only it won't be so noisy. Or I'm I wrong?
For me, the epoc of DVD and HDD is over and if I want to move forward I would choose only to work with SSD even if they are more expensive.
We don't need any more DVD to install windows or any other programs. If in some accident I drop my laptop I won't worry if it use SSD but if it's HDD, wow danger, all data may be lost. There many more advantages to use SSD than HDD and DVD, even if it's more expensive.
Other thing, I'm sure that in near future all games will came in USB memory instead in DVD discs.
