It's supposed to, less work = less power = more battery

With that logic, lets all get i3 CPU in this and STFU.

I joke, but serious why slow down the CPU it seems kind of counter intuitive.

I considered going with an i3-2330M - thinking I could swap to a quad later but I figured I'd be talking 30mins to an hour extra battery tops at the expense of a lot of performance and not a lot more money... I went for the beast build and am super pleased.

I ordered through xoticpc. Mine has shipped... Still in transit though.... Processing time took 4 business days (held up on my end) build time took another 4 business days, and shipping should be another 4 business days according to UPS

I'd like to know what OCAU did for their testing, because I'm not seeing anything useable past 4 hours.
It looks like one of the 3612QM users is trying to duplicate your light usages battery tests. In THIS post he got 4 hours and 18 minutes doing a similar test to one where you got 3.5 hours.

It looks like the 3612QM has about a 20% battery life advantage over the 3610QM but disabled turbo boost(fixed at 2.1Ghz) when on battery and using the 650M.

You could still use a 1103, you'd just have to find somewhere to stash the third antenna. This being a Clevo that will be easier then on some laptops as you'll be able to take it apart more easily.

Is the killer network card truly worth it? I ordered the Intel Advanced card with mine which should be significantly better than the integrated one but what kind of difference does the Killer card make?
Bit small for a flagship, don't ya think?
