I'm really excited for this model, as it will be my first new chassis in almost 3 years. I'll either sell the M86 to my brother for pennies, or gift it to my mother.

Still deciding on whether I should wait until the smoke is lifted on the 6970M.

when I configure sager laptops with current quad i7's and 470m's the price is usually at least $1600 usd so ya $1400 would be great but it doesn't look like thats going to happen.

And when are the 6970's suppose to start shipping with laptops? AW comes out with them this week but I haven't heard of any other company using them yet?

Not sure. There was a post run through Google Translate, where a Clevo employee said 6900M was coming to their machines in March.

I'm wondering if Clevo signed a timed exclusivity deal w/ Nvidia, or AW signed one with AMD.

An overclocked i7-2920XM might match or exceed it, but that's hardly cost effective.
