It looks like the delay was from a missing backpanel from one of the stocking W880CU's. I wonder where it could have gone? Oh wait, it went onto the bottom of my W870CU! The 70*C barrier on CPU and GPU temps has been broken.

Sager must be having a problem with the back panels for these machines. My initial eX-L 17 from Maingear had a dead pixel on it. I sent it back for a screen replacement, but the one they put in is worse than the first one. It has 5 dead pixels (versus 1 on first) and the display is blurry, straining my eyes and giving me a headache.

Next step is to RMA this for a full refund. If Maingear wants to charge me a restocking fee, I'll dispute it with my CC company.

    Hello
I looking to get the NP8850 soon too
I want to know is it worth getting the SSD drives

    which should i choose: -
    ~ 500GB (w/ 4GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid (Serial-ATA II 300 - 32MB Cache)

    or

    ~ 160GB Intel X25-M Solid State Drive (SSD2 Serial-ATA II) ( + 455 )

If i get the SSD will it give a 50% improvement in performance or more ?

Also whats the best Reseller to get it from ?

    Thanks

Well, I just canceled my order from RJTech since I saw Speedy's D900F was on sale @ the marketplace for the same price as the barebone(No CPU, RAM, HDD).

I chose the hybrid after watching the comparison video on the left side of this page. For the money it seemed like a good deal!!
