has anyone tried to downclock the 8800m to increase the battery life?
also how is the sub woofer? is it even noticeable?

the sub woofer isnt too noticeable, and ill say it again the speaker system is "acceptable" i have heard better.

T9300, 8800M, 4GB, 174.82 driver(stock clock)=9450
OC'd to 10295 now.

Darn it,now I really need to get myself that 8800M GTX. Can`t wait for June...
The subwoofer is more like a myth than a real component. It`s a 2w speaker set,what`d you expect?

no I don't expect anything. I have 3 headphone/earphones for audio already. Sennheiser's HD 280 Pro, Bang & Olufsen A8, and Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro

Using stock drivers (167.43 or 44, which I think is best...) the 8800M GTX automatically downclocks for optimal battery life. That is why you can get like 2+ hours of life
(if you got screen on low and no wireless...) even though it is a large, power-mongering system (I feel for 9262 owners though
)

Wow, that audio jack repelacement feature in the 5793 is very useful, you can have 3+ people on 3 headphones at the same time!!!
