My Mythlogic Experience
INTRODUCTION:
On June 22 2012 I placed an order with MYTHLOGIC ordering the Pollux 1612 (Clevo P150EM) it is my first experience buying a custom made laptop. I live in Singapore and have done my research before deciding to go with MYTHLOGIC. I will use the laptop mostly for work, mainly using softwares like Creative Suite 6 and Microsoft Office (Excel & Access especially). When I have the time I enjoy playing MMORPGS namely World Of Warcraft, Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2(Waiting for release!).

MY MYTHLOGIC EXPERIENCE:
Now for the compliments I have for MYTHLOGIC. I really like how they portray themselves to be meticulous and the wide array of customisations available. I had a screen protector fitted to my request and a UK powercord to be provided instead of a US one. All kinds of parts could be sent in to MYTHLOGIC and they would install it upon your request. MYTHLOGIC really held true to their policy of providing the most custom options and offered splendid support, their customer service was top notch as well!
I would like to thank Eric whom I've communicated most with through Live Chat and Email, he was able to provide me with clear answers and has been most patient. Also Jeff who was really swift with Email replies and offered great suggestions without any form of hard sale. And to whomever assisted me along the way, you've all been wonderful to deal with. Thanks for making my first purchasing experience so positive!
FINAL REVIEW:
My laptop has arrived! On 25 August UPS delivered. I will first talk about the build quality as coming from a Macbook pro 2011 the Pollux has a more ''plastic'' feel to it but for the sort of power it packs, the size of this thing is acceptable. For future buyers I would have to warn you about the size of the power brick it is by no means of ''normal size''.
Documents and processing is really fast along with the Samsung SSD multi-tasking is a breeze. For games I've only played Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2, the GPU has no problems handling games and the graphics are beautiful. I'm running a U2 cooler with extra fans along with my old CM cooling pad beneath these as well, under load GPU goes to about 49 degrees celsius while the CPU hits about 44-48 degrees celsius as GW2 is more CPU based.
In short I'm really happy with my laptop and tied up the purchase with no problems. Josh and Eric made all these possible. Thanks again Myth!

Hey Pawnerz,
Grats to you too I see that you've ordered a Pollux 1612 as well. Sure I will post pictures of my laptop when I receive it. Where are you situated? Singapore too? If it comes by Singapore the amount paid to customs should be 7%. As for the screen protector I requested it from Myth and they helped with the purchase.

Re: MYTHLOGIC Pollux 1612 (Clevo P150EM)
It will be billed to my company so obviously its not a gift and I'll have to pay my taxes.
If I could tell you I would rather you not post your ''intentions'' here if you know what I mean.
But hey if its a ''gift'' then I don't see why you have to pay taxes.

Re: My Mythlogic Experience
*Update
Just yesterday I received an Email from Eric@Mythlogic. Initially as I discussed the paint job with Eric I was not too sure of my decision and the colour chosen was mostly based on words. Our conversation would be something like.. Eric.. I'd like this colour with maybe a tint of this.. and maybe.. a lil' brighter/darker etc. And I would try to dig pictures from the internet to get what I thought was most relevant to the colour I had in mind. Man it sure was difficult maybe I just couldn't coordinate my silly brain or bad with colours to tell exactly what I wanted.
Thankfully, Eric was very professional he knew what I wanted although I wasn't sure myself. He explained the colours, work/effect needed to be done and the price. I agreed and left everything to him. Now that my laptop is being built I'm very sure MYTHLOGIC could have done the paint job and just send the laptop to me.
But no..not in MYTH's case, they wanted to make sure that the colour was right, they wanted to make sure I was happy with what I was getting before they carried on to paint the colour on my actual lid. It might be a small gesture of asking but I feel that MYTH has great customer service. Eric sent me the Email asking if I was alright with the sample colour that was done and for my permission to carry on if the colour was right.
All in all kudos to Myth once again!
In case you guys were wondering.. here are the pictures of the sample colour (That is not an actual part as well)
