Congratulations, it looks like you got it worked out. I guess Fujitsu doesn't lock their cards to the bios.

Well, went to the verizon store to see what was up with my card, since it wouldnt allow me sign up remotely. Turns out that this card is not listed in verizon's master list of all their esn/wireless devices.
Back to square one.
