Panasonic CF-19 Sata Drivers & XP (Help Please)
Hi all,
I'm new here and could do with some help please, I have a Panasonic CF-19CDBCFVE (MK1) with bios version (V1.00L13). The thing is i am trying to install XP but the silly thing won't work for me, I have downloaded every SATA Driver available and slipstreamed it but no luck i keep getting no HDD or corrupt files, Please can anyone shed any light on this for me as i am at a loss and the laptop has no operating system so is a big & costly paper weight. Thanks in advance

First check to see if the computer even recognizes the HDD. Go into BIOS from bootup (F2 at the blue Panasonic screen). Next you may want to try to reseat the caddy.

Well for starters you don't have a touch screen, you have a 10.4" digitizer so you XP Tablet. Your best bet is to pickup the restore disk for it " CF-19 MK1 Digitizer" I am not talking about the driver disk that is sold on fleabay for $5-$10. Don't waist your money on them.
Your model # CF-19CDBCFVE does not show up on panasonic's configure site. Is this a overseas model ??Blair

If you do a search of the forum you will find that others have had this same problem and the restore disk fixed it. The restore disk is an image of the harddrive When it left the factory and very easy to install. Once you get one you will understand what I mean. Is this an overseas model ?

@braundy2003, It's not clear from your posts, can you see the hard drive on the first page of the bios? If you can't you either have a bad cable in your caddy, or there is crud on the connector. Check these very carefully, a good hard drive will always show up in the bios.
