Default Packard Bell RS65-T600 Laptop. Any good?

    Hi,

Sorry but i posted something similar in another thread as I couldn't find this (a search engine problem. I did my best)

My mother just bought this (with my help) without reading any reviews and everything I've read is awful (but a few years old).

Anyone have any up to date advice on this machine? as I could take it back if its really rubbish .

    Thanks awfully

I think its ok, An ok processor, duocore @2.00ghz, my old laptop run at 1.83 and that was very nice and responsive, its got 3gb ram, so its fully utilisable and its got an Ati 3470 i think, so its average, i doubt your mother is a serious gamer

Hd 250gb so thats quite nice, there easy to swap out and its quite mobile (13inch)

I think thats an alright price for what you get.

There is a reason why the company is banned from the United States and this is one of the reasons. Cheap parts used that fail, and PB would down right either refuse to repair it, or keep "trying" to repair it til the customer gave up. Oh not to mention the fact they sold NEW computers with USED parts in them.
