Most Embarrassing Music Purchase
This thread is not for bashing music you hate. Rather, it is a sort of mea culpa to the rest of civilization for supporting truly terrible music. The only rule is that you can only post music that you paid for. Not just a song you thought was cool 10 years ago and now realize is terrible, but a song you liked SO MUCH back then that you shelled out your own money to own it.
The worst music purchase I can remember happened in middle school. I was in either 6th or 7th grade and for some reason I thought this was cool enough to justify going to Shopko to buy the single on cassette tape. Pretty sure my Sony Walkman (with auto-reverse!) started eating tapes shortly after this purchase, and I can't say I blame it.

Bought a Daughtry CD because I liked one or two songs. Really disliked the album and never listened to them again.
Bought a Michele Branch CD. Loved it

Charlotte Church
Vanilla Ice
Bananarama
All gifts for my sister a few years ago. But I had to buy the CDs in person. I could sense the clerk laughing hard on the inside. So I just stared him down with a "what? I dare you to say something. I double dare you" look on my face.Brand new, secondhand.

Re: Most Embarrassing Music Purchase
I bought a Madonna CD once. Obviously her older stuff since that's the only stuff she's ever put out that was actually good. More recently, I bought an MC Hammer 12" single.

Re: Most Embarrassing Music Purchase
Not my purchase, but I was gifted a Nickelback CD a long time ago. Kinda liked it, especially one or two of the songs, but the rest was meh. I'll dig up the songs and edit this post later.
