Do Mac People Tick You Off?
I am really tired of Mac people talking how their macs are infinitely better than windows PCs, how they have OSX and App Store, etc etc
What else bothers YOU about these people?

No because every user is different. Windows users who go on and on about its "advantages" annoy me just as much. Ditto Linux users.

Re: Do Mac People Tick You Off?
I just shrug it off, most Mac users don't realize recently there were 600 thousand botnet Macs.

I get annoyed when they go "My Mac Never Crashes!!! My windows PC had BSODs all the time!!!"
I feel like they need a slap in the face, most windows errors are caused by the users themselves.
How about this---A mac person told me their mac had a "Plastic Thing Less" DVD drive LOL
And I replied-- "Umm my Acer' got a slotless Bluray Drive"
The. they went--"Still, my mac is from Apple and it will never catch a virus"

Re: Do Mac People Tick You Off?
I don't argue that my MacBook Pro is infinitely better than a Windows PC because I know it is.
Anyway, attempted trolling aside, I actually don't argue that the Macintosh platform is superior to Windows at all. Both platforms have their advantages and disadvantages. I have both a Mac and a Windows system. I personally like OS X and iOS because of the user interfaces and the overall user experience. I think it also has something to do with the fact that my first computer was an Apple IIGS. I should also note that the main reason I got a MacBook Pro is because of the form factor. I was either going to get an Alienware M18x, Asus G74, Sager, or MacBook Pro. I didn't like the bulkiness of the G74 and didn't want to wait for my computer to arrive in the mail as I really hate waiting for stuff to arrive in the mail. So I went with what I thought was the best choice and got a 17" MacBook Pro.MacBook Pro 17-inch (Torako): Intel Core i7-2720QM; 8GB DDR3; Intel HD3000 / AMD Radeon HD 6750M; 240GB HP v300a SSD; 17-inch LED Backlit WUXGA; OS X Mavericks Developer Preview
IBM ThinkPad T40 (Lilica): Intel Pentium M 1.5GHz; 512MB DDR; ATi Radeon 7500; 80GB Fujitsu HDD; 14-inch XGA; Windows XP Professional
Desktop (Megumi): AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition; 16GB DDR3; 128GB Samsung 830 SSD; 1TB WD Green; AMD Radeon HD 7770; LG Flatron E2742; Windows 8 Pro x64

Re: Do Mac People Tick You Off?
Who cares? Let them live in their little reality warped bubble. Just live in satisfaction with knowing that you know better.

Re: Do Mac People Tick You Off?
Only when they assume that because it's expensive, by default it's better than their "cheaper" PC counterpart because logically being expensive means it uses the best stuff in there right?
Then I just ask what their £1000 Macs can do better compared to a £500 PC for their usage (which is usually just online browsing and multimedia playback) and they become really stumped after so they just try to change the subject saying "it just looks better OK?". This is actually from my friends and my boss believe it or not.
