The Signature Thread
This is inspired by photography-on-the.net where a thread is used to link to feeback and list all gear.
As of now, assume that standard forum rules apply to links in this thread.
Could we have a signature thread?
MidnightSun has kindly copied the key sections:
Posts in this thread will be moderated in the same way as posts anywhere else on this forum, and not as signatures. A post here is just the same as elsewhere; this thread just provides a convenient place to put it.- If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.
- You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral.
- You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.
You are not allowed in posts to link to or advertise in any way (including but not limited to) personal blogs/websites/pages/affiliated websites/affiliated resources in posts, no exceptions.
Here is how this works:
Signatures are limited in size, forum posts aren't really. (technically they are, to a few thousand characters)
So, you post a post in here, just ONE per person, and then link to this post in your signature.
You might have noticed that you will get a popup with just your post if you click on the post number - this is the link to put into your signature.
You can list all things in one post here that you would like other people to see. If you have 10 laptops and want to show off - you can. If you have one and want to list detailed specs, you can. Basically, one post to extend the amount of information that is accessible from your forum signature.Last edited by DetlevCM; 21st March 2012 at 04:47 AM. Reason: PS to MidnightSun - leave your post in, it doesn't clutter anything. But chatting would.
