the only thing i feel for this Zimmerman character is pure disgust. supposedly he has a "history". if u are apart of neighborhood watch and rolling around with a loaded weapon then that means u're just some sad loser that was probably bullied as a child and got rejected from, not only the police academy, but the local security patrols figured u to be a door mat of a schmuck as well.

I'm sure everyone has pretty much the same sentiment about this issue (hopefully). Only thing I could really add is that I wouldn't be surprised if this was in/near South Carolina, but in California of all places? Really?

I was referring to the 911 call from the Stanford region. After listening to that phone call, I was sickened enough as it is; didn't even want to click the second link.

That said, northern Florida is basically southern Alabama ... Too many people around here still hold a lot of resent(?) towards "outsiders" (not actually called that, but that's the vibe). Hell, my sister even gets crap, just because she's from the north (Ohio) instead of a good ol' Southerner. South Florida is entirely different in my experience, though.

Sad indeed. This is 100% outright murder. For the police to say there wasn't enough evidence to arrest Zimmerman is nothing short of mind boggling. I hope this case goes federal or trial moved to another state. Even the neighbors who witnessed can't believe Zimmerman is not arrested yet.

The 911 tapes was disturbing. You clearly hear the kid begging for his life before the sound of gun fire.

i think the feds took over the case as of yesterday or this morning. it really baffles me that this Zimmerman person wasn't AT THE VERY LEAST taken in for questioning...

utter shame and disappointment for the police officials down there.

i've lived in Miami and have had a business in Jacksonville before. the sheriffs down there need a real morality check.

the first link was the various neighbors calling 911 to report about them hearing an altercation outside of their units. u can clearly hear the kid screaming "HELP! HELP! HELP!" followed by a single gunshot and then silence. Zimmerman wasn't even supposed to follow him THAT far and got out of his car under his own judgement.
