For the record tijo, Best Buy, Future Shop and Staples all DO take CRT TVs.

Good to know as some places stopped taking them in due to having way too many to deal with, i'll have to check again where it was, but we had troubles getting rid of old CRT monitors at a place where i worked before.

He can try. At Staples, we don't measure the TV with a ruler, we just take whatever fits.

And you have no idea about how troublesome e-waste is... getting rid of it from your house is the EASY part of the process.

Sorry, I thought you might have misread the size of the TV since you mentioned up to 32" like it was a strict limit. For the record I was talking about the e-waste phenomenon as a whole.

Well it's supposed to be strict but we never formally enforce it; we go by eye at my store.

And I was talking about e-waste as a whole as well. Considering part of my future job will be designing to manage e-waste

It's finally done, I rescued and repaired the abused and neglected ThinkPad. Now it's all happy again.
