so can anyone tell me how hot of a fire it would take to melt/incinerate an old 37 inch wooden box tv, specifically the tube/screen?

i don't know what else to do with it the trash service won't take it and i don't want to just randomly throw it out along a road somewhere

Use c4, it's at least 40% cooler than just fire.

Does the TV work? Sell it of craigslist. Even if it doesn't work, earn yourself a quick buck.

Well what's the melting point of glass? I am sure there are a bunch of other not so pleasant materials/chemicals inside too. None of which you will want to smash-up/set fire to.

    That.

You're right though, no one wants to take in old CRT tvs and monitors now.

No I have an old box tv that has been sitting on my front porch for a while now and my original intentions were to let a friend put it in his dumpster but he said they wouldn't pick it up with the tv in it.

nowhere wants it, burning it is my only option other than randomly dumping it somewhere and no it doesn't work whatsoever and actually i'm pretty sure its got a wasp nest inside of it hence my need to be rid of it now
