Re: The Random Thread - Spring Edition
I would suspect Simon would have a hard time finding some of us on.

Re: The Random Thread - Spring Edition
Installed LoL on my computer once. I then proceeded to uninstall pando media booster and nuke LoL from my PC shortly after

I don't like it when a game installs stuff on my computer without explicitly telling me. It's not as bad as SecuROM which also made me nuke a few games from my computers though as it's not DRM.
He just needs to find one of us on steam and then with a little bit of ingenuity he can find the rest.Current: Precision M6700¦3720qm¦2x240GB SSD + 256GB mSATA¦32GB DDR3 1600MHz¦Firepro M6000

Re: The Random Thread - Spring Edition
Pando Media Booster is the best thing that happened to your computer. I promise! Luckily it's not needed in order to play LoL.
Only me, Baka and you play LoL here. So yeah, still talking about Steam.

Re: The Random Thread - Spring Edition
I know pando media booster isn't needed for LoL, like i said, it wasn't a problem with the program or LoL, but the fact that it got installed without me knowing it. No thanks! That is one thing i'm very picky about, not the first time i've decided not to install or buy a game for similar reasons. Every time i'm about to buy a game now, i check whether there's something like that and if there are versions that are DRM free etc...
Most other pieces of software had the decency of either having the option not to install some piece of bloat (toolbars etc) or to tell me they'd install this other piece of software and for what reasons (in which case, i can do a quick search on it) which i'm actually fine with unless it's some stupid DRM.Current: Precision M6700¦3720qm¦2x240GB SSD + 256GB mSATA¦32GB DDR3 1600MHz¦Firepro M6000

Re: The Random Thread - Spring Edition
I'm going to bed now and hopefully pick up something dull and broken in the morning. Otherwise the longer I stay up the likely I will oversleep and miss it. Ever since I came back on TRT my sleeping pattern had deteriorated badly. Since this thread became all happy again I shall take my leave and bid farewell.

Good luck.
Hearst and Tsunade are the only ones using the English alphabet. Checking out people's former names (drop down arrow next to their names) should make the process a bit easier.

Re: The Random Thread - Spring Edition
I'm back from my trip in Austin. I had a great time there with my friends and even met some pro Starcraft 2 players after their games.
