I doubt Zune will be the default media player for windows 8, i mean MS is walking a pretty fine line with the bundled software and anti-monopoly laws/groups.

If anything, Zune might be the default player that comes in Windows 8, you never know.

It's nowhere ready to become that, even if you consider the crapware vendors screaming blue murder at the prospect of that.
