In that case, I agree with you guys. The Tab 7.0 Plus is great, but smaller... and the Tab 7.7 is amazing.
Do you have a link because I haven't heard of that one. Only the 7.0/8.9 and now 10.1

The 7.7 is the only current Samsung tablet I would consider buying and that's largely down to the supposedly-stellar build quality.

Whatever tablet I try next, I would need to feel in the flesh though - I don't want another one with as much flex as the Tab 10.1
Not to mention, it would have to have Gorilla Glass.

What full HD/WUXGA Android tablets are on the market just now?

Thanks for the link Step. It's not listed on Amazon as of yet. The review says it comes with Honeycomb but the review was written in March 2012. So kind of confused why a new device doesn't have ICS?

Well, the non-LTE version was unveiled like September last year, the LTE version came later.

But the reviews seemed to take quite a while to appear.

I found some on Ebay for around $500. I hope Samsung does one of these with Windows 8.

The 7.7 is probably the best tablet in the Galaxy series due to the screen, size (IMO) and the battery life.

I just wish they sold a WiFi-only version in the US.

I like the 7 Plus too... and the new 7 has a good price ($239 at Costco with a case) but I prefer the 1280x800 rez on the 7.7 over the 1024x600 on the 7s.
Thin, light, hi-res display... and long battery life... where art thou?

If it has a decent screen res (ie not just 1280x800), I'll be there the day they go on sale, ready to try bending one and seeing if it's suitably solid.

I'll buy one regardless, 1280x800 is good enough for me and as an iPad owner with a retina display I still prefer the 1280x800 resolution.
