    I don't get why pausing certain downloads and resuming them causes them to restart. Doesn't that sort of defeat the whole purpose of "pausing a download"? Why even give the option if it's just going to re-download the whole thing?

    (Talking about downloading the Windows 8 preview and downloading the new iPhone update).

    exactly! iPhone update! I hate that pausing means stop and make you start over Happens a lot on chrome too..

    If it's really too hard to stay away, ask Chaz to temp ban you for a few days, or manually remove your permissions. I did exactly that a couple years ago when I got busy with school

    As for me...I've been hanging out with a good friend of mine, but my girlfriend doesn't like her. They can't see each other's Facebook profiles, but whenever my friend and I are hanging out, my girl posts really mean stuff about her. This friend was hanging out with me and some other friends at my apartment today while my girlfriend was at work, and my girlfriend posted "I can't believe [friend] is at my house..." One of my other friends who was here saw that and read it out loud, and my friend went home crying.

    It's nothing like that; my girlfriend is not the jealous type at all. I have plenty of female friends whom I hang out with one-on-one frequently, and my girlfriend doesn't mind at all. She just has personal reasons for disliking this particular friend of mine. I understand where she's coming from, I just wish she could let the past be the past.
