Re: What is bothering you right now?
Rough start to the morning. Woke up a bit later than usual. Started getting ready. When I went to go wash my face, I accidentally nicked my nose, not hard at all, and it started bleeding. Bled for a good 15 minutes before it decided to stop. Ever since I was little, I've had this weak blood vessel in my nose that doesn't close properly. Had it cautherized when I was younger, but it didn't help at all. Luckily, it only decides to bleed during times when the weather's changing.
Other than that, I usually walk my girlfriend's dog before we leave for work so he could poo/pee before we leave him for work, but since I couldn't due to blood gushing out my nose, my girlfriend walked him. 15 minutes later, she comes back and says that he didn't poo. So we go walk him around again and he still didn't poo. At this point we're already 30 minutes late for work and the dog still hasn't poo'd; so I just decided to put him back in the house so we could go to work. Fack. I'm bumming at the thought of him pooping in the house and being comfortable with it that he goes back to his old habit of pooping in the house. Back when my gf lived with her sister, they lived in a condo on the 3rd floor and they just let their dogs poop on the balcony or in the house (they always picked up after them though), but I wasn't too much of a fan of that. So when my girl and I moved in together, I made it clear I don't want him pooping in the house at all. Gahhhhh.

@TheArnski; if you don't train them early on, it can be a lot harder later on. A lot of the blame lies with the owners though, I went through that before. I can't stand when people just let their dogs go in the house. It eventually ruins the carpets, not to mention it makes their house stink.

Re: What is bothering you right now?
I used to play chess. Was never good at it, but enjoyed the challenge. One friend I knew was a master. He always would say "I can beat you in X moves", where X was always a different number. And even though he could have beaten me sooner, he always did it in the number of moves he said. Amazing. They say you need to play someone good in order to get better. In that case, lol, no. All I learned is to keep my cool and not get ticked off. I even studied up a bit to learn just the fundamentals better, but it didn't help much. He'd always check mate me, but at least I one time I was able to defeat his "I can beat you in X moves" challenge. And I was even one move away from check mating him. Of course he knew that, and didn't care because he could see it all. I envy people with that cognitive ability.
Reminds me of an old PC game (like mid 1980's vintage) it was chess. But any time you would go to take out a piece, you would actually go into a 3D (wireframe, lol) action game, where if you were the attacker would get an advantage, but the defender could still beat you and take the square. It made the game that much more interesting. You didn't automatically get the square, you had to also really fight for it. Of course it was also based on the unit's abilities and such, so a pawn would get like a 25% bonus, but against a king, it would still be damn impossible to take him down. Their energy would stay depleted but increase slowly with each move too. That would be a great game for today I think! Not only need good chess skills but good action skills too.

Re: What is bothering you right now?
When I was on staying with my uncle on vacation two years ago, he'd play chess with me whenever we weren't driving through or boating off of Miami. Coming back home to SC, I haven't found anyone that's any good at chess except for school chess clubs (though I don't really want to commit that much time to the game).
