What is bothering you right now?

Friend of mine asked me about events that happened a few years ago involving my ex and her friends, ticking me off a bit. Rather not remember that right now.

This screen is still doing it things.... Grrrr. I don't want to return it because then I won't have a laptop. The thing is useless for any photography/design work (which just so happens to be my entire course at school and TAFE!) I might just take it into a shop today.

Anyone know anything about Mary Kay? my gf signed up to start selling their stuff and she's all excited. I'm trying to be nice about it but it sounds sketchy to me and I don't see why she couldn't just get a legit job I'm holding my tongue, but it's hard cuz that's all she talks about now..

I would not be considering this a job, but something to augment income with. No question a small percentage make a livable wage doing this and she may be one. Is she a gregarious gal with the kind of personality others easily follow? Because know at the end of the day it's not so much about selling the product but recruiting others to sell the product below you. I have not been exposed to their business model but I do know it's a form of MLM (Multi level marketing). If she needs income this is not it IMO. If she wants to have some fun and does want to work at something, she should do this on the side and in five or ten years she may have a nice residual income cash flow.

She has a summer job (also works there during winter break) that she makes enough to coast through the school year. This is more to supplement her income.

I wouldn't say that she has the type of personality required for this job, and I kinda mentioned that when she started thinking about doing this and I got myself in a lot of trouble lol. We've always been pretty open with each other about giving our opinions when asked, but I guess I misread this situation and didn't "change" my opinion like I should have lol

I can't copy my music to my USB drive because it's "dirty" according to my computer. How can a solid state flash drive be "dirty"?

I hate technology sometimes... >.<

I had two packages delivered from Amazon today. For one, UPS drops off packages at the office of my apartment building, and we come get the packages from the office any time during office hours. However, the office is open until 5PM and I work at 3PM, so I went down to the office at around 1:45, but the office was locked and a sign said "be back at 4". So my package is not even a hundred feet from me, but I won't be able to have it until over 24 hours after it was delivered. >__<

And then the other package, something my girlfriend ordered, came later in the day, but I didn't get the "package delivered" text from Amazon until around 7PM while I was at work, well after the office closed. I talked to my girlfriend, who apparently buzzed someone into the front door of the apartment at that time, but she went downstairs and there was nobody, and no package in front of our apartment or the office. So, according to Amazon, the package was delivered, but we have no package.

normally drives get marked as 'dirty' if they are not ejected properly, normally running chkdsk on them works it out

Hey Mastershroom,
I had the same problem with my mail order medications. I never got the e-mail that they were shipped, from the pharmacy. I researched at the UPS site, and found out that they have a free service called UPS My Choice, where you sign up, and UPS will notify you 24 hours before the scheduled delivery, no matter where the package originated from.
